Laminate the cards, cut them out, and add a hook and loop sticker to the end of each CVC word. Cut out the letter -e and add a hook and loop sticker to the back of that. Ask the child to read the CVC word on the front of the card. Then, ask them to stick the magic -e on the end and read the new word that is formed.
